I was going through some files from college and stumbled upon this note that I wrote. The date attached to the file was September 11, 2001.

As if today wasn’t awful enough, I have had a lesser but inconveniencing misfortune. I sliced the joint on my left index finger. This wouldn’t be a problem except that I need it to take notes in your class. I spoke to someone briefly on the first day, but I don’t think I could understand his handwriting. Do you have any ideas as to how I can keep up? Would disability services loan me their notes? Any information would be helpful. I’m freaking out! Thanks, Lindsay
